Teen Connect is a program for youth-centre aged youth (12-18 years).

Two facilitators take the youth out into nature on a monthly basis where the natural world in all its glory is used as a metaphor and co-facilitator in discussing life themes. Different topics such as grief, loss, life challenges, introspection and reflection are linked to nature and discussed with youth as they navigate life and all its challenges and wonders. Strategies are offered and youth are invited to reflect in their journals and share (what they are comfortable with) with their peers.

Youth should be prepared for all weather conditions; we will be outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Registration and consent forms need to be completed prior to participating.
